I’m always searching for that moment when artifice falls away and the camera freezes a moment that is genuine, unplanned, and shows the heart of the subject bare.
When I’m not taking photographs, I’m acting on stages across Canada and for the big and small screen under the stage name, Joe Perry. On off days I’m riding motorcycles with my fiancée on country roads. I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and I currently live and work in Stratford, Ontario as an actor at the Stratford Festival.
